GEOLASTIC AB is a two-component waterproofing coating with both elastic and plastic properties. The first component consists of a promised powder contain ing hydraulic binders, selected aggregates and active ingredients to improve workability and impermeability. The second component is a latex consisting of special synthetic polymers in an aqueous solution. The two components are mixed together to form an easy-to-apply mortar which bonds to any type of support, GEOLASTIC AB forms an elastic waterproof coating which is capable of absorbing the structural movements of the concrete without cracking and which is impermeable to aggressive atmospheric gases.
Application Fields:
- Waterproofing structures requiring long-term protection against water infiltration including structures subject to high pressure and vibration such as water tanks and swimming pools
- Smoothing and levelling concrete surfaces and as a protection against carbonation for structures subject to deformation under load or rendering with fine cracks. The finish obtained with GEOLASTIC AB is similar to the colour of concrete.
- Protection of concrete surfaces subject to the attack of chemical agents such as salt or sulphates for example
- Formation of an elastic joint between floor slabs and walls, thresholds and floors, pipes and masonry, etc.
- Waterproofing ceramic tile floors and terraces in overlay without removing the existing surface.
- Waterproof coating providing a suitable support for laying ceramic tile.
